Common Questions

Questions people tend to ask first

Do I need any prior knowledge of property or finance to enrol? +

No prior knowledge is assumed. The courses begin with the basics and build from there. Many participants have held their property for ten or twenty years without once reviewing how it sits in their broader financial picture — and that is a perfectly normal starting point.

Are these courses suitable if I have not yet decided what to do with my property? +

They are particularly well suited to that situation. The courses do not push you toward any decision. They are designed to help you understand the landscape so that when a decision does arise — or when someone else raises it — you can think through it on your own terms.

How are the courses delivered? +

Each course is structured as weekly written readings — short enough to complete in a single sitting but thorough enough to leave you with something to consider. Worksheets and reference materials are included with each course. There are no live sessions or deadlines.

Will I receive advice on whether to buy, sell, or let my property? +

Padi Advisory provides education, not personal financial advice. The courses explain how things work in Singapore — the rules, the numbers, the considerations — and are careful to remind participants when a licensed professional should be consulted for individual decisions.

What is included with each course? +

Each course includes the full set of weekly readings, relevant worksheets (such as a property summary sheet or household options matrix), a glossary of official terms, and a directory of Singapore government and professional resources. Course 03 also includes a tenancy review checklist and maintenance log template.

Can I enrol in more than one course at the same time? +

You may, though we generally suggest working through one course before moving to the next. The courses cover different situations, so taking them in sequence tends to give each one the attention it deserves. That said, your pace is yours to set.
